The New York State Federation of Republican Women (NYSFRW) is committed to encouraging, supporting, and electing Republican women to public office throughout New York State.

Our Candidate Endorsement Committee carefully reviews endorsement applications from Republican women seeking elected office. The committee's mission is to identify qualified candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and a commitment to Republican principles.

Why Seek an NYSFRW Endorsement?

An endorsement from the New York State Federation of Republican Women demonstrates the confidence of Republican women leaders from across the state and provides candidates with valuable opportunities for support and visibility throughout their campaign.

Candidates endorsed by the NYSFRW may benefit from:

Endorsement Policy

​

The New York State Federation of Republican Women supports Republican women running for public office while maintaining a fair and impartial endorsement process.

​

The Federation does not endorse candidates prior to a Republican primary election. Endorsements are considered only after the Republican primary has concluded and a Republican nominee has been selected, or in races where there is no contested Republican primary. This policy ensures fairness to all Republican women seeking office and upholds the integrity of the endorsement process.

 

Who May Apply?

Republicans seeking elected public office in New York State are encouraged to submit an endorsement application.

Applications may be submitted at any time; however, the Candidate Endorsement Committee will review and consider endorsements in accordance with NYSFRW policies, including the Federation's policy regarding contested Republican primaries.

 

How to Apply

 

Applying for an NYSFRW endorsement is simple:

1. Complete the Candidate Endorsement Application.

2. Submit all requested information for review by the Candidate Endorsement Committee.

3. The committee will review your application in accordance with NYSFRW endorsement guidelines and policies.

4. Applicants may be contacted for additional information or an interview if needed.

5. ​We encourage Republicans across New York State who are seeking public office to apply and become part of our growing network of conservative women leaders.
