Trisha Turner, President

Trisha Turner has a long history of communityservice and community leadership roles. She beganher career working in the inner city of New Havenwith students with severe behavioral and emotionaldisabilities. She created and maintained an after-school program to help inner city kids stay off thestreets and engage in positive activities. She alsoworked with students with learning disabilities andtaught in an adult literacy program. Trishacontinued working with students in an advocacy role. She provided studentseducational support and advocated for appropriate special education supportservices. She participated in the Yale-New Haven Teacher’s Institute to createcurriculum programs for the teaching community.

As a parent, she served as the Vice President of VOICE, a parent advocacy group for special education students. She was a member of the special education re-evaluation committee at Victor Central Schools. Additionally, she has served as a co-chair of the Victor PTSA Grants Committee, Budget Committee, and Red Ribbon Week, anti-drug/alcohol program. She participated in the VCS building Council and as a PTSA Parent Representative for several programs in the District. She is currently a member of the Victor School Board and has served two prior terms.


Politically, she serves as the Finger Lakes Regional Vice-Chair and the County Chair of the Ontario County Republican Committee. She also serves as the 7 th JD Director of the NYSFRW and the President of the Ontario County Women’s Republican Club, with a priority to support Veterans and programs such as Honor Flight and local VA Hospital. She works hard to support Republican candidates on the local, state and federal levels. Legislatively, Trisha serves as the Regional Director of the Finger Lakes for the NYS Assembly Conference.


Most importantly, she is a mom of three beautiful girls and will be married thirty years this June to her husband Mark. She values family and freedom and committed to do her part to help turn around our state. Additionally, she is dedicated to help women become involved in politics and make a difference in NYS!
